But this is not correct way to get it working. How to get it working with SmartDVB by default?

hi from the bda.dev settings i see you're using direct mode, does the PLS tune also not work with the default BDA tuning mode? (btw bda.dev is the correct device module to use for pls support, only tbs btw). Are u using the current 0.4.5 beta? (this version should work better with pls)

does bda.dev PLS work at all with the current beta? If you try scanning with blindscan.dev do you have other results?

Blindscan doesnt work with 6903... you can see my crash reports... It always crashes even if i stop it before finish or use blindscan2...

you're using the default installed streamreader.dll? I have a beta test available with some streamreader updates for current new streamreader.dll versions.

you have pls enabled for bda.dev (tools>device settings>enable pls/mis)? And what pls / mis values are you trying to use (if you select blindscan.dev as the tune/scan module does it work then?). Please send me a bda.log or an application report (tools > send application report) after such failed tuning

looks like the wrong device type is selected for your device. Could you look at 'tools => device settings', and select 'tbs new interfaces' and see if this works for your 5980. If it does mail me your bda.log (smartdvb mail address)

No change even on new interfaces and another famous sat. without PLS(only MIS?) :?
After failed tuning, it is not possible to tune "normal" channels! Maybe it is supposed to work only with original TBS drivers?

Code: Select all
- SetPLS
- Setting PLS (Mode: 0, Code 1)
- FAILED: set_pls!
- FAILED: property_set_set_pls()
- SetTransponder: lock 5000, lnbtype 0, lof1 9750000, lof2 10600000, sw 11700000

- Stopping psi
- GetTickCount before tune_request 182492046
- tune_request 1 182492046

- Modulation used 27

- GetTickCount before put_tunerequest 182492046
- GetTickCount after put_tunerequest 182492187
- tune_request 4 182492187
- stoppsi: ticks 0
- GetTickCount after tune_request 182492187
- BDASetTuner Using locktime 5000
- Stats Count 3
- Interfaces 3
- presentquality
- presentstrength
- Actual time 484, Slept 100, final signal stats: lock 0, present 1, quality 64 strength 65
- Status: Locked
- SetMIS
- MIS Id 35
- FAILED: set_mis!
- FAILED: property_set_set_mis()
- Removing filter 8193

Thanks.

The picture you provide still shows 'tbs' and not 'tbs new interfaces' as the selected device type. Mis/pls for tbs will only, possibly, work with those interfaces selected.

If 'tbs new interfaces' works for you please provide the entire log so i can make sure those interfaces are selected by default.

Picture was quote to show why was set to TBS. Same problem remains with 'tbs new interfaces'.

I just have updated to latest version and i was able to make some transponders at 5W work with every stream inside certain tp but some doesnt work no matter what i do (11179V works but 11012V doesnt work etc)... 12.5W multistream tp still doesnt work for me...I use TBS new interfaces device type...
P.S. no problem with progDVB...
P.P.S. i installed new version over an old one to save diseqc position settings.
