how to correct audio delay

how to correct audio delay

Postby arin70 » Fri May 11, 2018 7:07 pm

I use SmartDVB to watch television on my pc.
When I send the audio to my bluetooth speaker it happens that the audio is not synchronized with the video (when I send the audio to the monitor integrated speakers the problem doesn't arise).
I've tried to find the possibility to manage the audio delay in the settings, but without success.
Is it possible, and if yes, how? Thanks.

good day. Perhaps you can try to use an audio decoder which allows you to set an audio delay (LAV audio decoder is one that allows such for example)...

best regards..

I do not think that I can make the audio "play in advance"... Sure that I need an audio decoder instead of a video decoder to set the delay of the video pairing the delay of the audio?
Anyway, where can I find LAV decoder?
Thank you.

perhaps you can also set a negative delay with the LAV audio filter (i know the LAV audio filter has an audio delay option when you go to the settings of the filter, right mouse click on the video window, then 'filter > lav audio settings').

One other thing you could perhaps try is the graph latency setting (app settings > directshow > graph/performance settings > graph latency'). But this will delay both initial audio and video so perhaps this will not help you.
