-system freezes for a few seconds while starting up.
-too long signal locking, usually fails.
-too slow channel changing when it manages to lock signal.
what device are you using and which device module. As has been mentioned elsewhere on the board it does rather help to be as explicit and complete as possible when reporting issues, what codec settings, system setup, os etc. Under which conditions does the issue occur. In any case, above sounds like a module/device problem, at startup the device is started so perhaps that's where the freeze stems from, but not sure without logs or any other information to localize issues.
-sometimes no video after succesfull channel changing
this might be codec related (or directshow settings) or a myriad or other possibilities again without any additional data.
program files are not unloaded from memory when you quit application. you have restart computer
this is a known specific bug/problem with the x64 build (did you see if the win32 build works better for you?), if you experience this again please check the taskmanager to see if any of these processes are still running after the x64 executable has exited: mdapihost.exe or blindscan.exe. If they still are running kill those processes then you won't need to restart the pc after the x64 build will not work properly again with blindscan.dev/blindscan.exe,
