Is it possible to add AVS2 video support

Postby urmhd » Sat Mar 14, 2020 9:08 am

Good Day,

Currently, SmartDVB support(?) AVS+ Video, but detect AVS2(newer version of AVS) Video as Data. Is it possible to add AVS2 video support?

The stream_type value of AVS2 is 0xD2.

China use AVS2 to broadcast 4K programs now as shown above in screenshot of Smartdvb, hope SmartDVB could add support for AVS2 channels in future beta versions.

FFmpeg start to support AVS2 from version 4.1, but seems not release windows build version with AVS2 decode enabled by default.
