PIP resize redraw bug

Postby Viewfinder » Wed Nov 27, 2019 11:09 am

Testing the latest SmartDVBx64-0.5.3.26 and notice when resizing a PIP window (drag resizing larger) the window enlarges fine but the live broadcast size stays the same and the rest of the increased window is either black or a still frame of what was showing when window was dragged larger.

Bug happens in both x86 and x64 versions with LAVFilters-0.74.1-x86 and LAVFilters-0.74.1-x64.

Existed in SmartDVB32-0.5.3.7portabletest version so perhaps carried forward from then?

(PS: Floating resize works fine, just PIP resize...)

Do you perhaps only have this with EVR? Some introduced issues mightbe there due to the addition of the EVR-CP renderer, you don't have this when using EVR-CP?. If EVR related i think this issue already has been reported and should be ok in the new builds.

Hello, thanks yes it is with EVR Video Renderer. Just tried PIP connection with VMR9 and that seems to be fine so looks like it is that.

I'll use EVR with Main and VMR9 with PIP for now. Tend to prefer EVR as anything that disturbs Direct Show such as UAC tends to freeze VMR. Cheers!

Tiny cosmetic bug with PIP volume slider. The volume scale / slider / percentage goes off screen when PIP window is made smaller than the slider. Again small and cosmetic.
